WRIGLEY!!!!!

We waited five years for a Gilson baby (and after removing the benign cysts on her ovaries, she and Canon produced our lovely rare goldmine litter starring four lovely boys and her daughters Wrigley and Augie.) Wrigley stayed here and Augie is with our friend Deb  in the North country. Augie has no idea we co-own her, and Wrigley is quite sure she owns us. Wrigley now has her BVA score for hips. She is a 3:3 with 0:0 elbows. She is clear for Ichthyosis and PRCD and PRA 1 and 2.Wrigley is cardiac and eye clear-see her clearances and her pedigree. Her sister beat her with a 1:2 on hips-we are thrilled with both results.

This is Wrigley at 19 months.

Wrigley has all clearances and produced one of our best litters ever at Darrowby in 2015. Her 2016 litter will be in the fall.

Last summer Augie came to visit-here are the two our playing  with mom

Here were shots at 6 months and some earlier pictures. This is one cream baby when she isn't covered with mud. Our current arctic weather makes the mud hard to come by. Wrigley is prcd and pra as well as ichthyosis clear. We will be doing her prelims in July when she is one. She is an accomplished toy thief, watching all the adults until they take a drink break and then she quietly builds her stash with all of the toys from the toy box. Impressive!

Welsh gold is an extremely rare commodity, and is used to make jewels for the Royal Family. Wrigley is officially Darrowby's Cymru (pronounced Camry) Field  Of Gold.  Den asked me for her call name. Toyota seemed all wrong, and with Wales in the equation, my response was Josie. At that point, when I told Dennis " Josie,"  he told me about his mother's summer house when she was a child. The maid put her gum under the dining room table when she needed to ditch it quickly, and a Boxer named Josie stood in wait to snatch it from under the table and eat it. So instead of Josie. our pup is Wrigley. All from Cymru.

Wrigley's mom is related to Den's old heartdog Disco, and many of our dogs who lived well into their teens. When she slows down enough for me to assess things, I think she shows quite a bit of promise. Most importantly, she gives us so many smiles! Watch her grow if I can catch the action.
