We went to Ireland again in 2016, and of all things, imagine this, we went to a dog show! We also went fishing, riding on the beach, stonecarving, raking cockles in the ocean and all the magical things we do in our favorite country. We were lucky enough to spend time with Kerrie Kelly, her daughter, several of her friends and her beautiful Goldens. I decided that the type, temperament, super movement  and conformation as well as the substance,pigment and coats were complimentary to our breeding program, and we were lucky enough to reserve a pup for 2017. While Maddie decided this was going to be sooner than any of us had planned, we are delighted to be welcoming our Miss Phryne Fisher as the newest member of Darrowby. Her  coat is as outrageous as the coats worn by the heroine of the BBC series. Her Gaelic name is for the Joy she will be bringing to upstate NY early in 2017. Thank you Kerrie, and join us in welcoming Zenevieva Luchair of Darrowby .

Her pedigree is as international as the rest of Darrowby, and we can't wait to introduce her to our snowy mountain and the rest of our clan.
